The WHIN Global Accelerator  is an 8-week virtual soft landing program designed for international women’s health companies preparing for U.S. expansion.

We go beyond startup basics — giving founders the legal, regulatory, commercial, operational, and technical foundation required to succeed in the U.S. healthcare market.

The program concludes with an in-person Investor & Partner Showcase in the United States.

What you will learn.

Across eight weeks, founders develop a U.S.-ready operational and commercial plan, including:

  • Legal & Compliance Foundations: Incorporation, governance, HIPAA, SOC2, BAAs, data agreements, federal/state registrations, U.S. banking.
  • Regulatory, Reimbursement & Go-To-Market Strategy: FDA pathways, CPT/HCPCS, payer logic, coverage vs coding vs contracting, customer discovery, pilot design, GTM planning.
  • Branding, Marketing & Cultural Fit: U.S.-aligned messaging, clinical storytelling, brand credibility, thought leadership, PR and digital channels.
  • HR & Talent Strategy: U.S. employment law, compensation norms, hiring models, HR compliance, onboarding plans, visa considerations.
  • Finance, Accounting & Investment Readiness: U.S. tax structures, financial modeling, pricing strategy, evidence generation, HEOR basics, due diligence preparation.
  • Sales, Procurement & Partnerships: Sales cycles, vendor onboarding, contracting, pilot agreements, pricing structures, CRM architecture, channel partner logic.
  • Technology & Data Infrastructure: HIPAA hosting, SOC2, FHIR/APIs, interoperability, cybersecurity, audit readiness, analytics and reporting.
  • Investor Strategy & IP Positioning: Investor expectations, IP strategy, pitch development, data room preparation, Showcase coaching.

Plus: a 6-month WHIN Membership with mentorship, curated introductions, and workspace access with a dedicated U.S. based business mailing address.

This fee is credited towards program cost if accepted. If you are not selected for this cohort but are accepted into a future one, you do NOT pay again, and the credit still applies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. All eight weeks are fully virtual. Only the Investor Showcase is in person.

Funding for travel is not included in program or event costs.

No. The program is equity-free.

All virtual instruction, weekly working sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and the in-person Showcase. Companies that complete the program and establish a U.S. entity receive a 6-month WHIN Membership, which includes:

  • Ongoing mentorship
  • Curated introductions
  • A U.S. business address
  • 24/7 access to workspace, conference rooms, gym, cafeteria, and on-site amenities located at the Florida Blue campus

Because the program receives high demand, the application fee is used to gauge seriousness and ensure that accepted companies plan to participate. If accepted, $199 is credited toward the program fee. If not selected for this session but accepted into a future one, you will not pay the fee again, and your credit still applies.
