With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the innovation lifecycle, Jane Muir has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for the launch of the Women’s Health Innovation Network (WHIN). An internationally recognized thought leader in innovation, Jane’s notable achievements include leading the development of the AUTM Nine Points to Consider in Fostering Greater Inclusion in Innovation, a key resource for over 3,000 AUTM members across universities, research centers, hospitals, and businesses worldwide. In addition, she was the founding Director of UF Innovate, a 100,000 sq. ft. incubator that was awarded 2018 Best Global Mixed-Use Entrepreneurship Center.
Dr. Christine Sapienza has held numerous leadership roles at Jacksonville University and is the co-founder of WHIN. She has a long list of accomplishments with her most recent one being the establishment of a partnership with the Lake Erie College of Medicine bringing an osteopathic medical school to the JU campus in 2026.
She is skilled in Academic/Industry Partnerships, Program Development, Research Development, Grant Writing, and Teaching. Prior to JU she held leadership roles at the University of Florida where she became an entrepreneur fueling her passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.
